Day 7: Commit to Unity Wherever You Go

“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.” – Ephesians 4:3

Silence (2 minutes)
Quiet yourself and invite the Spirit to speak.

Devotional Thought:
At the end of this journey, whether you sense God leading you to stay or to leave, the call is the same: unity.

If you stay, unity looks like recommitting to love your church family well. It means refusing to hold onto past frustrations, choosing forgiveness, and being a builder instead of a critic. Staying is not passive, it is a decision to go deeper and fight for the health of your community.

If you leave, unity looks like walking out with peace. It means not gossiping, not tearing down, and not sowing division. It means blessing the place you came from, even if it was painful, and stepping into your next season with integrity.

Either way, your decision can reflect God’s heart for His church. Unity is not about everyone agreeing—it is about everyone choosing love.

Prayer:
“Lord, wherever You call me, help me to be a person of unity and peace. Give me the courage to stay with fresh love if I remain, and the grace to leave well if I go.”

Action Step:
If you are staying, write down one way you will show love and support to your church family this week. If you are leaving, write down one way you can bless your church as you transition out.

Silence (2 minutes)
End by resting in God’s presence and committing yourself to His call, wherever it leads.
