Day 2: Has the Call Changed?

“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’” – Isaiah 30:21

Silence (2 minutes)
Before you read further, sit quietly and let God settle your spirit. If a word or image comes to mind, note it.

Devotional Thought:
Sometimes God calls us to stay planted. Other times He moves us on to something new. That is part of the journey of following Him.

If you are wrestling with whether to leave your church, ask yourself this: Is the call still here? Or has God released me into something new?

It is easy to confuse frustration with a changed calling. But frustration is not always a reason to leave. Sometimes it is just part of growth. Other times, God uses that tension to prepare you for a new assignment.

The key is not rushing. The same God who first called you into this community can also guide you if it is time to leave. Trust His timing.

Prayer:
“God, show me clearly if my assignment here has ended or if You are still asking me to stay faithful.”

Action Step:
Journal about what you sense God is saying right now. Do you feel Him confirming the same call, or pointing to something new?

Silence (2 minutes)
Close in silence, asking God to confirm His direction in your spirit.
