SPEAKING

Making growth practical.

I speak about leadership, organizational health, faith, technology, and systems to help people make sense of growth and leave with something they can actually use.

SPEAKING TOPICS

A few things I keep coming back to.

FAITH & REAL LIFE

I’m interested in the parts of faith that actually show up in real life - when you’re angry, tired, confused, trying to change, trying to trust God, or realizing you can’t do everything on your own. I want faith to feel honest enough to wrestle with and practical enough to live out.

Making faith practical for everyday life.

1

GROWTH, SYSTEMS & TECHNOLOGY

I love growth, but it has a way of exposing everything that wasn’t built to handle it. I talk about systems, technology, operations, and how to make things work better without making people feel like they exist to serve the system.

Growth gets messy faster than we expect.

3

LEADERSHIP & PEOPLE
I’ve spent a lot of my life leading teams, volunteers, ministries, and organizations. I keep coming back to clarity, communication, culture, and what leadership feels like for the people being led - not just the person leading.
Leadership is always about people first.

2

HEALTHIER RELATIONSHIPS
I think a lot about willingness, honesty, conflict, responsibility, and what it actually takes for people and relationships to change - not just what we wish would change.
Wanting healthier isn’t the same as becoming healthier.

4

SELECTED TALKS

A few things I’ve shared.

I talk about what happens when we keep trying to produce patience, peace, love, and self-control on our own, and why Jesus’ invitation in John 15 is less about trying harder and more about learning to remain connected to the source.

Anxiety has a way of convincing us that everything is ours to carry and control. I talk about the spiral of “what if,” our need to stay in control, and what it looks like to surrender what we can’t carry and trust that God is present in it.

There’s a difference between reading Scripture and actually letting it shape the way we think. This message is about slowing down, paying attention, and allowing what we take in to change the direction we’re moving.

Using Cain’s story, and a few too many flat tires from my own life, I talk about what happens between a trigger and our response. The goal isn’t to never feel angry; it’s learning to recognize what’s happening, understand it, get help, and choose a healthier response.
